Traditionally, facial rejuvenation
has been achieved with a face-lift by surgically tightening
the skin. Today, a multitude of minimally invasive procedures
are aimed at rejuvenation without the risk, recovery time,
and expense of major surgery
Since 1981, dermal fillers (Collagen and other Dermal Fillers) have been used
to treat lines, folds and wrinkles resulting in a younger and fresher appearance.
The treatment is safe, and produces instant results.

Commonly Asked Questions
What is the difference between
the different dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers can be broken down into three categories- bio degradable, semi
permanent and permanent. Semi permanent and permanent products, while they
produce longer lasting results, are associated with higher risks. The safest
products are biodegradable products because any problems (probability of adverse
events is minimal) associated with the treatment can be reversed. Our clinicians
prefer to use bio-degradeable products because of their safety factor. Also
as we age, the skin changes so a permanent solution might not be appropriate
for the long term.
Can I have the treatment immediately?
Subject to the outcome of your face-to-face consultation, as long as there is no medical reason for not continuing, you can proceed immediately or make a future appointment. The decision is up to you.

Which
products do you provide and why?
For biodegradable products, Rejuvdent uses Restylane and Hydrafill.
We prefer to use these products because there are five different products to
choose from which means that we have the flexibility to choose a product that
is right for your skin type. These products are formulated differently than
others and provide a smooth and natural results with minimal swelling. These
products
are have been in the market for over five years and have shown very little
adverse responses. Safety and efficacy are our main priorities for our clients.
Is the treatment painful?
There is some discomfort during treatment. The clinician will use a topical
anaesthetic on the treated area to minimize any discomfort. For lip augmentation,
the clinician prefers to apply a dental block since the treatment is more
painful in this area of the face.
What is the cost for the treatment?
The cost varies depending on the areas to be treated. You will need to consult
with the clinician before a precise cost can be determined. On average, most
treatment cost between £250 to £300.
Do I need to take time off work
to have the treatment?
No. This procedure is very non invasive and patients can return to work after
treatment without any noticeable difference.
How long does the treatment last?
Depending on your age and the area treated, you can expect to repeat the treatment
twice a year. On average, the treatment will last 6-8 months. In the lip
area, the treatment will last about 5-6 months. The reason for this is that
there is more mechanical stress in this area and therefore the product tends
to breakdown quicker. |
